Playback from grid starts only after ~ 30 sec, Windows 10

Winamp is the default music player.
Playback with Open (double click)/Ctrl+O from the grid doesn't start for about 30 sec. Winamp itself starts immediately, but the playlist remains unchanged, an ongoing playback will continue until the new playback starts.
However the playback starts immediately in Row mode, or for a double click in file explorer.

In row mode a playlist file is created and executed behind the scenes (just in case you selected more than one file), other wise a single file is executed .
Maybe Winamp behaves differently between those two scenarios

Understand, but from file explorer or from command line Winamp starts the playback immediately.

It was not an issue formerly, but it has been around for a while.
Now i am using windows 10, in the past I used XP.

I tried again in the evening and now Ctrl O works fine.I didn't boot, install or change anything - in the meantime I was using Firefox or didn't use the PC. I don't know what to think, what made it good now.
