Trailing Spaces in Tags not updated

Hi Jtclipper,
The album name has several trailing spaces.
The option Tags I set Trim trailing and leading spaces from tag fields.
After updating the result report tags as updated but the spaces are not removed.

... Also no change if the option Formatting > %Variables > Trim Variables (%...%) is set.

Did you fill that value manually in the grid? if so then it is left untouched when the tags are updated.
If you hit scan or apply then the grid should display the correct value after all formatting and other options are executed and evaluated.

Scan and Apply dont bring the wished result (with 087beta update1 from 10.01.14. I tried to express it sensfull in this screenshot:

I solved it now myself. The trailing spaces are no spaces but any character. Quickly in Word displayed it looks like that:

When I added spaces manually after that infinite-sign (like in the screenshot) TGF removed the "real" spaces correctly.
Sorry for bothering you, it was my mistake. Anyway its interesting which characters exist

In any case can you please send me one of those files, I'd like to have a look at those tags and see if a clean up is possible.
