Always admin

Post by Wronschien »

Hello, I've got a slight problem that's becoming rather annoying on the long run.
It's very simple : every time I open The Godfather, windows UAC asks me for admin rights (which I have so it can start anyway).
Actually it's been doing this since I've switched to windows 7 earlier this year. Now I'm using the latest version 0.89 beta but this behaviour was already there with at least the two previous versions. On my previous XP based computer, the version I had of course had no problem since no UAC there !

Is there any way I can skip this ? I've tried UAC Pass but it only works with direct launch, and I always use the right-click menu on a folder to start it directly where it's useful.

Did you try the 'never notify' setting in UAC ?

Well yes that works but UAC is somewhat useful though, as it allows to pay more attention when it's triggered by a program that apparently doesn't have to mess up with the system.
Actually TGF should not raise it in my opinion, but maybe there is a good reason, anyway I know I can trust it.
