I have problems with cleaning the track field. The parameters are After Update and Scan in the Tag grid there is no /xx in the track field, but Ctrl-P, Ctrl-G (and other programs) show it (12/32 in this case) and I can delete it from Ctrl-G.

But sometimes Update removes it, mostly if there was some other change in the grid.

If i understood correctly you would like to strip the /xx part of a xx/xx track field.
Is it possible that those files contain more tag formats like ape2 or LYRICS3 if not then tell me the exact steps you take and i will try to reproduce and fix it.

I have only id3v2.3 tags (always remove other tags).
It was Scan, Update and Scan, and didn't removed /xxx, and occurred the day before yesterday and yesterday.
But now when I try this, it works well - I will watch this.
