Retain/Drop column sorting

Post by hopalongrock »

In the old version Manual Edit retained the sorting of fields, Tag dropped it pressing the Scan button. In the new version Tag drops the sorting.
Please change this to retain the sorting clicking on Scan, or make an option for the working, or make two Scan button - one with sorting, one without it.

I've just discovered, that sometimes tgf doesn't maintain in Tag panel the correct sort order.
I set the Album , Track number sorting.
This problem occurs for example in the 1st scan result after the start of tgf, or when I do rescan after the sort setting. In some cases even the re-setting the sort results the same bad result - Oops ! It seems the result is good only, if I 1st sort fort track, then album and track.
See the attachment.

Thanks.

Would it be possible to get a notify, when you have posted a new build ? (In a new announcement message or when you have edited the original announcement - if it is possible.)

I will upload beta 4 on this weekend, hopefully it will be the last beta before the release.

In this case "the tag panel with customized columns ..." in your post
http://jtclipper.eu/tgfforums/viewtopic.php?p=41#p41
and
Rename from Tag screen
http://jtclipper.eu/tgfforums/viewtopic.php?p=67#p67
probably will miss from this release.

Please don't forget these - without the Pic, Lyr, Quality, Length, Size columns I have to use the old version !
