But this version seems to have a problem when renaming files or directories since it seems to take the ID3V1 tags, although i have the reading order first ID3V2 and then ID3V1 (and both are synchronized) or maybe i am doing something wrong?
One other question i have is where the functionality of TAG from 0.81 went?
are you sure that the album artist and the artist are identified/inserted correct. I tried to tag a album classical disney with a..music and the album artist are the individual artists per track while the artist is disney ??
Set the order to ID3v1->ID3v2 the one that is read last overwrites the previous fields.
The tag functionality is all there just unchecked the online button (or use the default column preset TAG).
Hi,
like i said i grabbed the information from allmusic for the album "Classic Disney Collection". After applying i get the artist "disney" for all tracks and different "album artists" for each track. When using "force album to be parsed as various artists" it is identified as DISNEY featuring xxxx. So it seems to be grabbed correctly, but inserted wrong
Always use "force album to be parsed as various artists" in order to make use of the album artist field and different artist per track (if available).
I tried it and all is fine what ever information is on the site gets grabbed and inserted correctly, send me your tgf.ini file so i can try and reproduce.
Thanks for the update. I'm unable to grab data for any multidisc album from AMG. The application stops responding when it sees tracks divided up by CD. Win 8 64 bit. Running program in admin compatibility mode from a folder outside system folders.
No need to run in compatibility mode or as admin for this version.
