Re: Field names in capital letters
Hi jtclipper,
the other programs I use beside TGF (Helium Music Manager, ID3-Tagit) don't touch the notation of the tag field names. Only TGF changes them into capital letters.

Re: Field names in capital letters
I use the custom fields also in other software. For example I use Helium Music Manager. There I can map this custom fields, but with some field names in capital letters there are problems and the programmers are not able to fix this (or they do not understand the problem). Other software only list a...

Field names in capital letters
Is there an option to avoid that the custom tag field names were written in capital letters? For example: I want to have "Styles" instead of "STYLES"

Re: 0.85 Beta: Error when executing scripts
@jtclipper
.scl makes trouble (all files that come with TGF, the custom scripts I use are only modifications of the script I posted here, which means scripts to copy data from one tag field to another)
.sct is working (BTW: the script is executed very fast)

Re: 0.85 Beta: Error when executing scripts
@jtclipper
With the newest beta from yesterday there is a strange behaviour. When clicking on the button to execute the script in the online panel nothing happens. All scripts can't be executed. Do I have to activate it or is it a bug?

Re: Version 0.85 beta - available
That would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.The band field is nowadays universally used to store the album artist information, I could add an option not to automatically transfer the user fields to the 'band' in ID3v2, that would solve the issue i believe.

0.85 Beta: Error when executing scripts
Hello, with the last full version of TGF I used the following script to copy the composer data into the lyricist fields: Program composer_to_Lyricist; var i, iCount: integer; sComposer: string; begin iCount := on_getGrdRowCount; if iCount = 0 then exit; for i := 1 to iCount do begin on_setGrdRow(i);...

Re: Version 0.85 beta - available
@jtclipper There was a bug with ID3 reading order (options/tags/id3/read order), I have fixed it hopefully. Thank. Now everything works like a charm. -ID3v2 user fields named 'ALBUMARTIST' or 'ALBUM ARTIST' will be read into the standard Albumartist field I have to admit that I'm not really happy ho...

Re: Version 0.85 beta - available
Hello, first of all thank you very much for the new version. Phantastic work so far. One bug I've found: content in comment field isn't displayed in grid and quick view. One feature request: it would be nice to have original album and original release year also in the multiple edit panel. Bye Byte &...

Re: Separator for Multiple Values and Swapping Fields
@jtclipper Maybe I'm too stupid, but although your code examples are very helpful, I can't find a way to substitute "/" with "," in the composer field. The new AMG script works fine, but I want to have the composer "comma-separated" as it was realized in the AMG script before relaunch. Concerning mu...

AMG script obsolete
As Allmusic has made a complete relaunch of its website the script for AMG data grabbing doesn't work any longer. Any chance to get an update of the script?
