It was the mp3 files that caused the issue it is fixed and I will upload a new beta this weekend.

I will have a look at the lyrics/pictures functionallity regarding selected rows and also shrink/reset padding.

In short, UTF8 will use single byte characters up to ASCII 127 and UTF16 will use double byte for everything.
As for 2.4 vs. 2.3 I am reluctant to mark the files as 2.4 because so many other software behave erratically with those tags it's rather annoying.

The file had a user field named STYLE in it, TGF uses a user field called STYLES so you end up having both
I will make it so that when a file has a style field the styles field will be automatically used and the other field removed.

Please try and isolate a flac file that crashes the program and email it to me.
( use rar or any other compressor program to break it apart in smaller files 7-8 mb each).

TGF only needs to set your proxy in IE thats all, you can use any other browser as the default one.

This is one of the things i did not want to play around with at least in this release.
I know this is not what you ask for but you can use the copy/paste tags command to set the values of all other fields.
