Re: TGF Hangs When Adding Album Too Many Songs
The issue is resolved. I'd been doing clean installs of the beta, but copying over my old ".ini" file. That was causing the problem.

TGF Hangs When Adding Album Too Many Songs
I'm using TGF version 0.86 beta II. When adding an album with over 12 or so tracks from AMG, the songs load and show in the online panel. However, when I try to edit the track titles, the panel starts to "flash" and TGF hangs. The hang lasts long enough that I have to kill the program via Task Manag...

Error Message in 0.85b
TGF was scanning a directory with approximately 20 FLAC files. The files have no tags. During the scan, TGF hung for a second and then displayed this error message for one of the files: Not enough storage is available to process this command This is a message I've never seen before. Is this an appli...

Re: Version 0.85 beta - available
I'm a long time fan of TGF and have learned my way around the program. But the new version - which I'm liking so far - has me confused. In previous versions, I was able to setup up renaming options based on variables. I found this under Options > Rename > Format Options > Use Variable. There were tw...

Issue with Grabbing Multi Disc Sets from AMG
Thanks for the new update to TGF. However, there's an issue when I grab an entry from AMG that has multiple disks. I hit grab and the tracks are pulled in and the tracks for the first disc are in the correct order, but all the other tracks for the other discs are in the incorrect order. For example:...

Re: Problems with AMG
I'm running into the same problem when using AMG. My version of The Godfather is v8.0, but I've also encounter the same use when using the v8 betas. Running Windows Vista SP2 with IE9. Usually I can tag a few files, but after a bit TGF starts to bog down when trying to load an album page and just cl...

Re: Invalid FLAC
I've run into the same problem. Usually when TGF hits me with an invalid file error for FLAC files, I open the folder containing the files and use the dbPowerAmp to strip the tags. Then rescan the folder in TGF and everything is ready to go. As someone pointed out, I think it has to do with invalid ...

Re: Issue with AMG - Credits/comments not copying into album info
I've been having the same issue. Generally, I click the "review" tab in AMG to get the full text and then click "grab" in TGF. About 80% of the time all the fields are pulled in. When it doesn't happen I use the every present cut n paste method.

Re: How to remove multiple Track numbers
Go to the Tag section of TGF.
At the bottom of the screen, check the box in the Track Field.
Leave the value blank.
Hit apply and you'll see that all the track numbers have been removed.
Hit update to apply the changes.
Then go to rename and use whatever convention you'd like to rename the files.

Re: ID3 tag update
Hey Bud, I had the same problem with FLAC files in v7.0. From what I could tell, the issue stems from having bad tags already within the FLAC files. I'm not sure how the tagging in FLAC works, but if the format is incorrect or they are corrupt, TGF gacks. Even trying to delete the tags using TGF did...

Turning Off IE Script Errors When Using AMG
I've been blocking ads in IE 8 using the host file. Of course, AMG when parsed through Godfather doesn't like that and every time a page tries to load I get a number of script error dialoge boxes. Is there anyway to turn these error messages off, either at the broweser level or within Godfather? Or,...
