Organize - extensions listed double in Include other fiiles
If I use the same filetype twice in the field "Include other files ... ! e.g. "*.jpg;*.jpg" in "Organize", then the file is listed twice in the restructuring result tree (with the same name). After saving, for each file (which is listed double) appears the error message "file already exists". 201401...

Re: Trailing Spaces in Tags not updated
I solved it now myself. The trailing spaces are no spaces but any character. Quickly in Word displayed it looks like that: 20140113_024319_Dokument1 - Microsoft Word.png When I added spaces manually after that infinite-sign (like in the screenshot) TGF removed the "real" spaces correctly. Sorry for ...

Re: Filter function brings not wished result beta 087update1
After extraction/installation I have a TheGodFather.exe file from 10.01.14 14:43 20140112_183000_20140112_182945_Total Commander 8.01 - NICHT REGISTRIERT.png which I checked is the latest version from your homepage and your server. Filter function brings not wished result beta 087update1
When I tested the version from previous days I recognize that when I filter %OY% = "" (or !=) the results still contain both values and no values. Can you reproduce this? Thanks a lot!

Re: Version 0.87 BETA available - Update 1
Do you have a convenient way how to transfer the ini settings if a new version is installed?
At the moment I comapre the tgf.ini files with totalcommander and copy my individual setting lines to the new one.

Re: Tagging with incremental number - with repetition
Now after ordering tracks from different multiple CD folders by the variable "incremental number %#%" I discovered following which could be an indication for the rootcause: The GodFather GZZ31 MUSIKT_N_SAMP_M-CDRythm n Blues Collection_2014-01-10_11-10-15.png You see that after track #20 the new CD ...

Trailing Spaces in Tags not updated
Hi Jtclipper, The album name has several trailing spaces. The option Tags I set Trim trailing and leading spaces from tag fields. After updating the result report tags as updated but the spaces are not removed. The GodFather GZZ31 MUSIKT_N_SAMP_2014-01-09_02-42-58.png ... Also no change if the optio...

Re: Tagging with incremental number - with repetition
Yes, I did. I loaded several folders and marked the files which should be tagged with the Row Mode button (F6). Then I tried the same with different settings on other files in the same list (which were in another folder) and there it worked. Since I went on working I couldn't reproduce it, with othe...

Tagging with incremental number - with repetition
Hello jtclipper, sometimes the incremental track numbering brings 01 01 02 ... First I thought it is when I use the filter, but although I was testing around I couldn't find any reason. The files are named in the right way, they are in the same folder etc. I'm using the new beta 087 version. Thanks ...

Re: Comparing different tags from one file
Thank you very much for your offer to provide a skript! Actually I already solved my topic with the workaround with excel, so at the moment I wouldnt need it. What I did was - copying the whole list of tracks to excel - comparing the 2 target tag fields with the formula WHEN(field1 = field2;1;"") - ...

Comparing different tags from one file
Hello JtClipper and Godfather-Users, just wanted to filter over my whole music collection the files, where tag fields are identical (artist and album artist / year and original year). I use this for e.g. artists with "The" in the beginning to have the artist name with and without "The". (-> with "Th...

Renaming Files without tags cause one space too much
Hi jtclipper, when I rename files without tags e.g. with this pattern %A% - %L% (%Y%) - %R% - %T% by picking the text from the filename with %Fx% between the minuses and text parts are 2 spaces instead of one. Although I set the option "Ignore Spaces". Seems like the option is not active although it...
